Staffordshire Wildlife Trust is looking to purchase a refurbished mobile exhibition trailer as an attractive mobile space to exhibit the work and principles of ‘Transforming the Trent Valley’, that can be easily transported and used by any member of the team in all weathers.
The project team attends several regular and one-off events where the aim is to share and engage with the public. We are looking for a supplier to brand and furnish a second hand trailer that meets our specifications. The trailer needs to be visually attractive from the outside and provide flexible space inside that allows us to customise our interpretation to suit the event.

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust through the Transforming the Trent Valley Partnership scheme are working closely with the landowners (St. Modwen Properties Limited) to deliver a suite of habitat enhancements to the Branston Leas site. The area will continue to be accessible to the public and enrich the environment for people and wildlife alike.
The site is situated in the River Trent floodplain and there is the opportunity to restore some of the naturally found wetland habitats which have largely been lost across the UK over the previous century. We intend to enhance the River Trent marginal and bankside habitat, creating shallows to help support fish and invertebrate populations. Here we are looking at enhancing up to 800m of the river bank.
The objective is to produce detailed designs for the river enhancement proposals put forward by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. This will include section drawings for river reprofiling and indicative volumes and levels. Recommendations on the detail of design features based on topography and hydromorphology to be included. There should be hydraulic modelling for the completed designs. Please read the attached full specification.
It is aimed that this work will be delivered on the ground from July 2022 onwards.
We would require all prospective contractors to visit the site prior to making a quotation.
This project is funded by the Environment Agency and will delivered by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.
